Our Story
We are a family owned and operated business located right outside of Lakewood Ranch Florida . Like most of you, we think buying organically grown food should be easy. Carey has worked as an IT professional for the past 15 years. Pat has been involved in the produce industry for over 24 years, specifically with organics for over ten. He was nominated by Produce Business magazine in 2006 as one of the Top 40 young produce leaders in the industry. Most recently Pat was Vice President of Operations for the largest organic produce supplier here in the Southeast. Prior to that was Director of Sales and Marketing for Goodness Greeness, the leading organic supplier of organic produce in the Midwest, based in Chicago, and also hosted the Green Grocer segment on NBC's Good Morning Minnesota morning show in 2002.  In working with various farms, distributors and retailers throughout the country, we know that consumers have limited exposure to organics. Combining our expertise, we are excited to bring you great healthy organic options....delivered to your front door!

How It Works
Front Door Organics is an organic and natural grocery webstore. We deliver right to your door and you do not have to be home to receive your delivery.

Our groceries arrive in sealed, Rubbermaid totes and are packed with Blue Ice to protect against the heat for up to 3 hours.

We currently deliver to most areas of Sarasota and Manatee Counties on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Orders placed by midnight will be delivered the next day. Our delivery fee is $6.50 for all areas and order sizes.

Delivery hours are from 2 pm until 8 pm . Shortly after you register as a new customer, you will be assigned a 2 hour delivery window once your delivery day(s) have been selected.

Easy Sign Up
You can Sign Up to become a Front Door Organic customer in about 3 minutes. First, go to the Order Status page  and click on "Proceed to Registration "(existing customers just have to enter their email and password). You can also go to My Account or Order Status at the very bottom of the page. Next, supply contact information. During the Checkout process for your first order, you will be asked to supply your debit or credit card information and delivery instructions. It's completely secure. And it's that simple..

Start Shopping 
Now, for the fun part. Sink into a comfortable chair in front of your computer and begin to fill your virtual cart with the items you want. Use the "aisles" on the top and side navigation bar to shop a major category. Use the Search feature located in the top center of the page to shop by product type or brand.

Shopping Lists
As you fill your cart at Front Door Organics, create shopping lists of your favorite items. On future trips to our webstore, simply click on Manage Shopping Lists and select a list you created to shop quickly for items that you buy regularly. This feature makes it even more convenient to complete your weekly shopping.

Checking Out   
When you've finished shopping, click Checkout Now. Provide delivery details and billing information. Click on Place Order, example shown here: , then wait to receive your "Order Confirmation" email message. Your shopping excursion is over - unless, of course, you decide to return to the aisles to change or add to your order. That's easy. You can change and save your order as many times as you like before the 6:00pm order deadline, just remember to Check Out again completely each time and receive another "Order Confirmation" email message.

Delivery                                                                                                 

• Orders will be delivered between 2:00pm to 8:00pm in our delivery totes. All customers will be assigned a 2 hour window within that delivery day. Delivery days will vary depending on your location. Please Contact Us by phone or email at the time of registering to confirm your delivery day(s) and 2 hour delivery window. Our bins will be packed with blue ice packs to keep your order fresh for up to 3 hours in the heat of summer. We offer both Attended and Unattended deliveries.

  • Attended Deliveries are preferred. Once you start using Front Door Organics you can count on your groceries arriving at your home during your regular two-hour delivery window.
  • Unattended Delivery is also offered for your convenience. We can leave your groceries in a secure area that you choose such as your garage, back porch or another location you choose. When we deliver your next order we will pick up bins and packing materials from your last order.

Freshness Guarantee
Front Door Organics guarantees the quality and freshness of all our products. All orders will be packed to maintain their freshness for up to 3 hours for unattended deliveries. If you are not satisfied, simply contact us within 24 hours of your delivery, and we will gladly credit or replace the item on your next delivery.
